# Moving to Wingbase

> Bring your existing school, training and student data with you when you move to Wingbase.

Already using another system? We can help you bring your existing data with you when you move to Wingbase.

Every school keeps its data a little differently. You can use our import templates, provide existing spreadsheets or exports from your current system, or a combination of both. We'll review everything with you before we start the migration.

## What can we migrate?

We can migrate the main information you need to get started with Wingbase, including:

* **School and team** — school details, team members, rooms and simulators
* **Training** — courses, exercises, tasks, exams and instructor ratings
* **Aircraft** — aircraft details and related information
* **Students** — student details, lists, course enrolments and previous training
* **Documents** — school, aircraft and student documents
* **Bookings** — upcoming bookings

Have something else you'd like to bring with you? Let us know and we'll take a look at what we can migrate. This can include things like historical bookings and safety reports.

## How does it work?

We'll start with a short kick-off call to understand your school, what you'd like to bring with you and how your existing data is organised.

After the call, we'll provide a secure space where you can share your migration data and documents with us.

You don't need to reorganise everything before you start. If you already have useful spreadsheets or exports from your current system, you can provide them in their existing format. Our import templates are available for information that isn't already available in a suitable format.

Once you've provided the main information, we'll review it and get in touch if anything is missing or unclear. We'll then prepare the import and set up your Wingbase account.

You don't need to wait until everything is complete before sending us your data. We can start reviewing what you have and work through anything else together.
