Wingbase app

The Wingbase app is the main place for your team to use Wingbase day to day. Available as a native app for iPad and iPhone, it brings together the schedule, training, students, aircraft, safety and reporting in one place.

Who is it for?

The app is made for the people who run the school and deliver training day to day, including instructors, operations teams, administrators and school owners. Everyone works from the same school information, with access based on what they need to do.

Day-to-day operations

See what’s happening across the school and manage the day as things change. The schedule brings together your instructors, aircraft, simulators and rooms, so your team can see bookings and availability in one place. When an activity is finished, instructors can complete it in Wingbase, add feedback and record what happened. Where flying is involved, flight information can be added at the same time.

Training

Wingbase keeps your training structure and student progress together. Set up the courses your school delivers with phases, exercises and tasks, along with experience requirements, exams, required documents and instructor ratings. As instructors complete lessons, student progress is updated so your team can see what’s been covered, the experience they’ve gained and what comes next.

Students

Each student has their own profile bringing together their courses, progress, activities, exams and documents. This gives instructors and the wider team a clear view of where each student is in their training without having to look in different places.

Aircraft

Keep the aircraft your school operates together with the information your team needs day to day. See availability, status, hours and documents for each aircraft. If your school wants to manage maintenance in Wingbase, you can also keep track of defects and upcoming maintenance tasks.

Safety

Safety reports give your team a simple place to raise a concern and follow what happens next. Updates and supporting documents can stay with the report, keeping everything together from when something is first reported through to closure.

Reports give you a wider view of how your school is running. See activity across the school, aircraft use, instructor and student hours, and training progress over time.

Team

Keep your team and their availability in Wingbase too. Regular working hours and time off can be added for each person and are reflected on the schedule, making it easier to see who’s available when planning the day.

Designed for iPad and iPhone

Wingbase works across iPad and iPhone, so your team can use it wherever it makes most sense during the day. The School Portal works alongside the app when your team wants to view the schedule or manage bookings in a browser. The Student Portal gives students their own place to follow their training.
