If you’d like to keep your existing safety history in Wingbase, we can help you bring it across. During onboarding, we’ll provide a Safety Reports Import Template to help organise this information. If you already manage safety reports in another system or spreadsheet, you can provide what you have instead and we’ll review it with you. You don’t need to bring across your previous safety reports if you’d prefer to start using Wingbase for new reports from your go-live date.

Safety reports

We can bring across information such as:
  • Report title
  • Report type
  • Report date
  • Priority
  • Status
  • Description
Both open and closed reports can be included, allowing you to continue working with current reports while keeping previous safety history available.

Report types

Safety reports can be organised by type, such as:
  • Aircraft
  • Airside
  • Incident
  • Hazard
  • Other safety concerns
If your current system uses different types, we’ll review them with you and work out how they fit into Wingbase.

Updates

Safety reports can include updates showing what happened after the original report was submitted. These can be used for follow-up information, actions taken and other developments as the report is worked through. Where this information is available, we can bring the updates across with the original report.

Supporting documents

Documents and images can also be attached to safety reports. These stay with the report so your team can keep supporting information together with its description and updates. See Import your documents for more information.

What happens next?

Once you’ve shared the safety reports you’d like to bring across, we’ll review them and get in touch if anything needs clarification. We’ll then bring across the agreed reports, updates and supporting information so you can review them before going live.
